OLIVE TAWA MASALA WITH CHICKEN

INGREDIENTS

  • 15 pc (50 g) Black OLIVES FROM SPAIN
  • 240 g Chicken boneless (chunks)
  • 100 gr Cashew nuts
  • 100 gr Curd
  • 1 pcs Capsicum
  • 1 pc Onion
  • 2 pc Tomato
  • 1 inch Ginger
  • 3 tbsp Ginger-garlic paste
  • 3 tbsp Garam masala
  • 1 tbsp Red chilli powder
  • 4 pcs garlic cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 pc Fresh coriander
  • 30 ml Olive oil

PREPARATION

  1. Soak the poha in water. Wash and drain all the water.
  2. Add some salt, turmeric powder and keep aside.
  3. Peel and cut the potatoes into small cubes, chop the Spanish green olives, onions, green chilies and coriander leaves.
  4. Heat oil and add the chana dal, urad dal, mustard seeds, peanuts, curry leaves and fry until they crackle.
  5. Add the potatoes, sauté for a few minutes, then add chopped onions and green chilies.
  6. Cook till they are done and add the poha and coriander leaves and stir them up.
  7. Keep it on slow flame for 5-7 minutes.
  8. Let it cool for some time and then add lemon juice.
